Teenager Shiki is attacked by a mysterious man. As his foster father Tsuyoshi helps him flee, he learns of his surprising and legendary heritage.

Shiki wakes up confused in front of Naito, who explains the situation between the Oni and the Momotaro.

The first test the boys face to enter the academy is playing "demon catcher."

If they want to pass the test their teacher has given them, students must work together.

The students reach the Kyoto underground and discover new things about the war they are involved in.

The undead attack the students and Shiki is forced to make a decision that will change his mind.

Yomogi uses his power to seal off the underground and the students must fight to survive.

Kuina fights a battle against another ugly, but this time he finds himself in a very delicate situation.

The riots affect the security of the temple and the students must evacuate the people as soon as possible.

Samidare visits the Momotaro headquarters in Tokyo. Brushing off fellow agent Shinya's provocations, he declares he will be the one to kill Shiki.

Overwhelmed by Shiki's intense flames, a wounded Tsubakiri recalls the promise he made to his mentor, Manaka — the man whose corpse he controls.

A storm catches the boys by surprise and they have to stay locked up for a night.

The boys have time to go to a local festival and Shiki meets someone mysterious.

Momotaro's surveillance network detects what happened in the city center and responds immediately.
